We were running late and it was going dark. Painted hill was few hours of detour. We took and that was one of the best decisions made. We reached Painted Hills at time of sunset but with enough light left to see around. The whole place had only two cars, no noise, and no other visitors. The colors are breath taking. The landscape is beautiful and the colors make it even more beautiful.
